Tower
Tesserae or mosaic, on those roundish lamp bases, then they are stacked up and glued together. Some fun. I sold these at Palapas in Palm Springs when I first came to the desert, in the late 90's.

Clay Copy of Akhenaton Stone Sculpture
Akhenaton was pharaoh of Egypt in I think about 2000 BC, my luck to get a crush on a dead guy. He was married to gorgeous Nefertiti and credited with being the first monotheist. His strange appearance is attibuted to inbreeding. Made in late 80's.

Quilted Velour Jungle Scene
Only the piece on top is mine. It is made of one piece of velour, painted with dyes. The dyes are heat-set, washed out, the piece is quilted and stretched. This was my favorite work using this technique. Made in the mid-80's.

Sabre Tooth Tiger
Soapstone carving of an imaginary animal skull, based on a lion. It took me a week to make this, with very silly tools like steak knives and coping saws. My partner at the time thought that stone carving made me foul.
